The bookshop was, for all of us, a place of shared interests and emotions \u2014 a search for the key to understanding the world we were living in, and at the same time the only source capable of satisfying our hunger for images, signs, photographs, media, design, architecture, essays, and everything that opened the mind to the plurality of knowledge.
